Greetings

Hello everyone,

I am always on the lookout for information about my reef tank and happened across the site today. I am impressed by the layout and the overall "feel", so I thought I would toss my hat in the ring.

My name is Jeremy and I have always been a water baby, whether it was swimming, boating, fishing, or aquariums.. I have always loved it.

I have kept several types of tanks over the years and have had my current one going for about 2.5 years, plus the year or so of study (first reef) and equipment collecting.

My tank is a 90 gal. RR Oceanic thats been plumbed into my 55 sump/fuge in the basement. I run an Octopus 200 skimmer with a couple of mods and I am currently in the process of planning a canopy for my new lights.

I will be running dual 250 MH (XM 10ks) with 110w VHO actinic kickers. Any ideas for a good system to raise and lower my lights within the canopy would be greatly appreciated!! That is what I am researching now and would like to do it right the first time (yea right ).

So, I just wanted to say hello, thats about it for now.

I think I have an old picture around here somewhere too........ to be continued.
