First time I have joined an organization like this, looks very cool!

I have been an avid reef keeper for around 20 years. My three main tanks were a 180, 75, 40. Unfortunatly I needed to move several years ago and had to give up all but my 40g tank.

Now that I have settled into my new home I just set up a new 90g reef tank, its a slick looking bow front (my wife picked it out), with a custom halide + PC + led lighting rack, filtration is in a seperate room (the reactor room).

Tank is full of live rock and new coral frags now, been in operation for about 6 months... looking forward to see what I can do with it, a lot has changed in the 7 years I have been out of the hobby.

    The new 90g project tank

Ok. I have attached a few pics of the new 90g reef tank.

The picture of the tank speaks for itself :) The sps coral frags were just recently introduced. There are a few soft corals from my 40g setup and a few fish to complete the picture.

The lighting system was a real pain since no stock system would fit the shape of the tank. That began my first DIY project... the lighting sytem is a modified coralife retrofit suspended above the tank by an aluminum frame (T6 -6061, marine varnished) the frame took me about a week to construct, and the modification to the retrofit took another few days, but now it fits tightly under the stock plastice canopy for a clean look. I also designed and built a custom plexi moisture barrier to protect the lighting sytem and circulate air across the water & cool the lighting system.

The "Reactor Room" is in a seperate room behind the tank, currently it consists of a 30g sump, two 10g reservoirs with liquid level cotrolers to auto top-off the sump (water is dossed form each makeup tank on alternating days so I can add supplements from the 10g reservoirs automatically if I choose). Additionaly a good protein skimmer is in place and all of the timers & electronic gadgets as well :cheesy:

Hope you enjoy the pics :)
