ok so I don't know if anyone else does this... but I got bored tonight and made a long scrolling image of all my full tank shots I could find. I know I have more to fill in the gaps, I'll bump this when I update the scroll.

The images are still pretty small, I plan to make a larger one (high bandwidth) from the source images soon... but this is faster to work with.

    Enjoy!

Love it! Wish I'd kept a better photo record of my entire set up. But yours is looking fantastic!

I really like the tank scroll idea. I like the one year photo. I try to tell people that a reef tank grows but most don't understand. Your photos might help.

Thanks guys! I had no idea going into this how much the tank would change with essentially little to no interference. I feed, I add livestock, I do a WC every few months....

The rock blossoms with life, the fish breed, the corals grow, and everything is changing all the time. NOTHING like my old FW tanks. I mean, a planted tank grows for sure.... but live rock and corals? ... WOW.

I plan to add a new shot every month or so. The 180 build will have a webcam on it, and I intend to animate things more. I just don't have any highspeed at my shop where there 58 is, so I can't really stream anything from it.

I am thinking of a way to make a mini ROV wet web cam. for the 180. Imagine bweing able to explore caves that normally only fish would have access to? I have software already that would let viewers to the site control the movement.

    That sounds awesome.

Like the progressive shots. I had the idea to put mine in sequence like that some day as well, so have taken a lot of photos. As it is they've still changed quite a bit in the few months they've been up.
