The stranger part is that the shrimp would jump on the lion fish from time to time!!! I did use to find the shrimp missing an arm every now and then though! All in all, he only went after fish I purposely fed him. But about 5 months ago now, I moved the lion fish to a much larger friends tank because it was too tight in my little tank.

As many have said before... It's not this blue in real life.

The view from my favorite seat!

And growth be damned (i'm very confident growth will be great, however) the coloration even without being able to adjust at 100%/100%/100% is AMAZING. The most beautiful I have ever seen. And my Sailfin and Yellow tangs are much more active now. Swimming out front instead of hiding.

Didn;t you say the entire cost was around $1300? I would love to get something like that but I can not afford it :(

That is a great looking setup!

I've spent $12,500 at this point. I am still going to add an acrylic algae turf scrubber and then the coral and rest of the fish I haven't added yet.

It's been a goal to build this tank for a long time. I love it. I slept in my living room last night just so I could watch it! These new lights are amazing.

Ouch Grim, that is a crap load of $$$. I can help you spend your money if you like :)

To clarify on what I meant. For that $1300 that was on your lights alone, correct?

    Thanks

Oh, I wish. The 60" AI blue kit was $2,750. Plus the cord/apex module for 200 or so. Right at $3k total.
