Thanks everyone!! I stayed up retarded late with some jazz music, 2 friends and bunch of bourbon and tweeked a few minor things and I picked up 8 new pieces today! All LPS, a few acans, 2 encrusting flower pots (blue and a blue/green) an amazing open brain and a super cool bright orange plate coral!! The contents of my 30 are now either sold to the lfs or in the 210!!

Here are some pics, my mom is coming today to get some much higher quality shots!

Thank you! I'm really happy with how it's coming along. The most recent tweeks helped tie it together a lot. I'm going to get a few more macro types and a purple whip coral to help give it more of a natural look.

I appreciate it! Thank you! I can't wait to see it all colored up with coralline!

Thanks bro. How is the shimmer off the orpheks? These AIs look crazy! I love it.

I really appreciate it! I know how much pride you take in your rock work, so I take it as a big compliment coming from you!

wow I am in complete awe of your system and all I have to say is.... some day I will be there, some day. Oh and the Orpheks shimmer is amazing as well, I don't think they are nearly as bright as your system but they def still look good :D

Ok, Now with all the corals in here, it's time to set up my dosing. I've never had to pay to close attention to this, as my weekly water change kept all my parameters solid as a rock in the 30 gallon. (5 gallon every week and 10 gallons one of those per month)

I am debating Kalk vs. Two part Vs. Two part & Klak vs. Calcium Reactor (I have plenty of room under tank. Any have any suggestions, or anything to add for a tank this size, what's the easiest to automate with little control on my part (that's way more important than budget issues)

And... because every post is better with a pic.

One more thing, I have a spare 30 gallon now.. I don't need macro grow out because I'm adding the Algae turf scrubber... I want to plumb it into the system and I'm thinking of either a seahorse tank, a display refugium, or maybe a mantis shrimp tank... What would make sense as a compliment tank?

Goals of adding it to the system
    - COOL factor
    - Increase water volume
    - Amphipod/copepod growth
    - A place to grow live food
    - Increase biological filtration

I'm almost positive this is what I'm going to do. I think I will line the back of the tank with as much rubble as possible, up in a u form like my 30 gallon is set now (about 3" from front glass, touching side glass and about 4" from glass of rubble going 5" tall). The tank is 24" tall, I'm thinking about add a 7 inch DSB then using rubble to build a cave base about 5" tall. From there I can take a large piece of live rock and place it on top with macros on both sides. Should give plenty of display space for the mantis, room to grow macros to feed my tangs and my foxface, as well as optimal conditions for pod growth? Do we agree?

Bump, I need some help on this one.

If you want automated dosing, your best option will probably be these...$90-100 ea. depending on the retailer.

BRS Top Off Doser (50 mL Per Minute) - English

For further automation you could get a Bubble Magus dosing pump. It is about $300 and allows for dosing of 3 liquids. You could also get a slave pump if you wanted to dose even more additives. lol. $200 for the slave pump.

I'm familiar with the bubble magus, it looks awesome doesn't it!! If I do go dosing, that's what I plan to use. (had not seen the other one, thank you!) I'm just curious if Dosing or Calcium reactor is easier to setup and maintain parameters. (I think I have narrowed it down to Kalk+ 2part auto dosing vs. calcium reactor.) I've heard of ways to almost completely automate calcium reactors with my apex, I'm just not sure of how automated it is (does it adjust for increased demand automatically or not)
