It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Yes the sps will color up. It varies on the time, sometimes only a couple weeks. It's hard to judge the color changes when you look at them every day, but over a coupe weeks you should notice the changes.

You have some beautiful pieces with great potential. The ID you need looks to be a chalice what specific kind I can not say for sure.

Awesome, thanks for the info! I can see some colors deep in a few of them. One seems to already be more colorful, but I may just be seeing it through my own optimism!

It doesn't seem like a chalice. And it was only $140.... Chalice seem to be considerably more expensive. Looks really wicked under the actinics, like darth maul colors!

The yellow tang is healthier than he has ever been. Fattened up a lot since the move to the bigger tank, and he seems.... yellower! The sailfin is looking great and I haven't lost any chromis in a long time, group seems to have settled at 8. I haven't seen my mandarin in a while... but that happens!

On the down side, my bicolor foxface died this morning. No idea why, he seemed fine when i went to sleep... And I added 4 firefish about 3 weeks ago and never saw them again lol.

I moved my red reef lobster from the 30 gallon, my blue reef chromis, and my ocellaris clownfish as well. All acclimated well and are doing great!

    So current fish in tank
    8 blue/green chromis
    1 blue reef chromis
2 spotted mandarin dragonette (paired up!!)
2 Black ocellaris clownfish (seem to have paired as well)
1 ocellaris clownfish (not sure of what to do with him.. I'm worried about him with the others, but it is a big tank)
    2 Royal Gramma
    1 Midas Blenny
    3 Engineer goby
    1 yellow tang
    1 sailfin tang

    6 Skunk (scarlet) cleaner shrimp
    1 Coral Banded Shrimp
    5 peppermint shrimp
    1 Hawaiin red reef lobster
    clean up crew

    Long tentacle anemone

    I plan to add:
1 more large show type fish (active, and colorful) something to replace the foxface
    1 flame angel

So these shots of your tank are with the AI sol modules at 100%? No tuning of the colors of any sort? Looks great, just watch out, you wouldn't want to bleach any corals or anything like that.

I'm running them at 100% for a couple hours a day... I didn't get the AI controller because I planned on buying this... just figured there was no way I wouldn't be ready for the lights because of the back order.. Didn't expect to have send it back twice. I'm going to take two of the lights off line and try to raise them even higher.

Good idea, these babies will smoke some corals, i only am running mine at 25-30% at the max during the day. I will start turning them up slowly here before too long. I went from one boostled par30 to one AI SOL Blue, so i gotta be carefull.

Love the tank btw, its really coming along.

Thank you! And you are right, I am aware of there ridiculous par. Especially with the tighter optics I put on mine. I am looking for a piece of glass or something I can place up there temporarily. I really hope I don't fry all my new stuff. The tanks the corals came out of wasn't anywhere close to this powerful. And I'm dieing to look at the tank making keeping it off terribly difficult!

The tank is starting a little diatom phase now. I need to do a water change and replace the gfo/carbon for the first time. I'm sure it's partly due to this being the first time it's getting light. After the algae turf scrubber and Peacock Mantis fuge are set up I doubt I'll run carbon/gfo anymore.
