Nice Sulawesi Pectinia chalice! Is that a blue Bowerbanki on the sandbead?

How do you have your continuous water change system? Do you have pics on this this thread? I would like to set up one on my tank because I personally think this is the way to go for me!
I don't want to waste the perfectly good salt water. I am running 11 salt tanks at home. More to come as my business expands. Only two of which are reef so I'd like to use the WC water for my fish only tanks.
Will probably start a thread for some ideas.

Ok well I found the link to your thread where u r discussing it. Will give it a good read through. Using the skimmate as dump water is a good idea. However, my plan is to use my waste water change water for my other tanks so I don't think it will be wise to use skimmate.

I ended up not using the skimmer. The best method imho is by using an aquapure liter meter 3 dual peristalic pump. Another option is the tunze osmolator with a diy that powerman showed me. That's what I'm using. I'll pm you his thread friday when I get back to town and a normal computer. Or search for it. There is a link in my skimmer water change thread.

Not bad, would look better without LEDs though.... Haha, just kidding obviously, looks awesome!

How high are the VHO? That was sort of the big advantage of T-5, was the reflectors. You may be able to build some sort of reflector for the VHOs though, if you have room. From what you describe, most of the light is probably just ending up on the walls.

exactly. with them being a solid 18 inches awl.. Most of the light is on the wall and floor. With everything but the vho off, the spectrum in the tank from them is awesome. But it's really distracting from all the light spill. I have some extra tek reflectors. I'll try pushing more light down.

Got it at the lfs. I'm pretty sure it's called "the portal" it's pretty cool. Doubles as an algae scraper too!

    And thank you!
