Nice! Thanks for the idea ;)

Yeah, so far it has covered itself in gha. Only algae anywhere in my system! Besides my scrubber. I figure it will pull whatever out of the eggcrate and die when that exhausts. My system runs ULNS so I don't see how it could last too long!

Certain brands leach a bit of po4 a silicates, but not an inexhaustible amount

Got home Sunday, and my AI lights aren't dimming, at all... I knew it already and had adjusted my apex remotely with the assistance of my tank buddy. God I love my apex!! dimming went out the day after I left. My girlfriend caught it when she came to feed my fish. I had her plug them into the apex strip and was able to use them like normal lights on a 6 hour cycle. Then, I reprogrammed from D.C. and just left them on a short cycle (6 hours) full power. close call!! A week of full blast all day and night (previously all control was through the VDM module) would have completely fried my tank!!!

Now to test the limits of AI's customer service.. Though I am expecting it to go smoothly.

Luckily, my plan worked, my corals and fish all are looking great!!! Pics after Mardi Gras... HAPPY FAT TUESDAY!! I'm gone to the parades for now! Deal with the light later... lol

Way to think on your feet Grim, and I am sorry for the troubles. Hopefully the dimming is an easy fix, and they work with you. I would expect that they would though.

Got a pick of that nem yet? I'm dying to see!

Hmm.. Hiding.. Now I'm worried. I had to leave right after acclimating him.. As soon as I see him I'll get some shots.
