It's not easy taking great pics with LEDs, from my experience the colors are always off and the images are washed out, which Nikon do you have? Play around with the white balance and A-priority

I use a carrier called C-spire. Used to be called Cellular south. I have unlimited everything for a real $75 after all taxes a month. I didn't want to leave them because of that. They got the Iphone around the same time sprint did.

I am going to get the memory card for the Nikon D70 this weekend and I'm going to start playing with it. I'm also going to try and convince my mom who's a professional to come over and get another set of good photos for me!

Your tank is looking great by the way, some great results from your LED project!

I have a Nikon D70 I'm pretty sure. I am finding that it's a little easier if I turn the flow off, but I really don't know what I'm doing lol. Never used more than a point and click before. The camera is a left over from my Mother when she was earlier in the hobby (photography). As she started getting paid she has upgraded and is letting me borrow it.

Anyone know of some good threads on coral/aquarium photography offhand?

I looked up C-spire, sounds like a great deal! I have the 4S from Verizon, Id have to keep adding the feature and it does add up! Luckily, Ive been with them long enough to let me keep the unlimited data plan, so Im happy for now.

If you could get a hang of how to tweak the white balance and the exposure compensation, itd drastically change the photo presentation.

And thanks for the compliments! :)

I like it for this room. It was the best I could do with the space I had. I really love the height. It has a great presence in the room. I will do a 36" front to back instead of this 24" next time and I won't have anything touching the glass. I also don't like the way the overflows are set up. But all in all, I really like it.

    Thanks for the compliment!
