    Very cool. I like that.

what kind of camera do you have and do you have photoshop? If you have a decent DSLR that can shoot in RAW format, and access to photoshop, you can easily correct the colors. I played with mine a bit to determine my color temp. let me see if I can show you an example.

edit, well I was going to try and pull an example, but darnit if all of mine have been worked over already.

From the sound of it, you need to get you white balance correct. you have a few options. one is to place a white object in the tank and then manually set the white balance on the camera to that. this way your camera knows what is white and when it crates the image on your card, it has the whites as white and the rest of the colors line up. This can be a PITA. OR, you can get a http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/white-balance-lens-cap/ and then take a photo and set that for your white balance. this basically creates a grey image. (I put a piece of toilet tissue between my lens and the thank glass and took a photo like that. Worked pretty good.)

Lastly is to take the image in RAW format which basically means exactly that. it is a raw image file at the highest resolution that the camera software has not touched (when you do a jpeg, the camera will adjust what it sees as teh white balance among other things) and then make the adjustments as you see fit with image software on your computer. I use photoshop. GIMP is an opensource FREE alternative.

Edit... I shoot with a Nikon D3000. I can tell you what do do for its settings. canon is like another language.. LOL.

I'm shooting with a Nikon D3200, and I have been shooting in RAW. I actually have the white balance cap, but don't know how to properly use it. On your Nikon, can you trust what you see in live view?

I have a copy of CS4, but still haven't gotten a base lesson in how to use it (getting that this weekend from my Mom)

Edit: I posted on your message board.

Most definitely! The offer stands, so if you end up on the job just let me know. If you come and can get live stock home, I'll send you with a couple frags!

I really appreciate it!! It's come a very long way in such a short time. IMO, it shows just how important stable parameters are.
