Beautiful tank, Grim! Glad to see I'm not the only one with Damsels. lol

 

Not plural!! That fish is a TROOPER. My buddy bought it in Washington D.C., moved it to Atlanta, he doesn't care for his tanks at all.. doesn't even let the salt mix properly before dumping it in.. it lived through him. He moved back to MS coast and then finally it came to rest in my 30 gallon.. It lived there for 3 years, then at my business for a year and finally because it had survived all that... I figured he had earned a place in my current tank. He's really not a bully though.

 

Yes, they obviously don't look anything like those pictures which kind of surprised me. They aren't nearly as sleek as the picture, but they are just as effective. I have been looking at them for a long time and finally decided to bite the bullet.

There are other options though. Like This, but you gotta be able to mount it over the rim.

Or you can try these that are much less expensive. Not magnetic though. But still probably effective if you clean the area first.

We had about 40 reefers make the swap!!! 2nd best turnout our club has ever had to a meet! There was frags, food and lots of fun!
