Did you see that Majano tank that Biocube took pics of at the aquarium. It's was NUTs, but very pretty!

 

What Brand of LED's do you have on this tank? Would you recommended them and how many would you need for 72"?

 

You are close to me, my lighting is for sale... My tank is 72"... I have a unique mix of DIY and AI sol blues. My results speak for themselves. I have had GREAT results. I'm selling my entire kit for only $2k (I have over $3200 invested)

I also have a 60" 10 bulb t5 kit with all new ATI bulbs I'll be selling that was going to be used on an upgrade I'm not going through with for only $750... either way you'll be set to grow anything you could ever want.

 

Sounds great but I will need to talk to my dad and when you say kit is that the light kit or like the whole thing I assume you mean lights. Is everything for sale or just the lights because if your whole setup is for sale I'm def interested. Gulfport is only 2 and 1/2 hrs from me so I could probably pick it up. Now I will not personally be the one paying for it lol I am still in high school so I don't have money and even if we would want to buy it we just had to fix our boat launch and we need to fix a few things around the house from Isaac so I will have to see.

 

Yes, I mean everything that I'm currently using for 2k. I say kit, because so much more than just the lights is included. Everything you need (lighting wise) to keep anything you could want livestock wise for $2000. That's 5 AI sol blues, the light hanger, controller, and my diy fullspectrum (additional 36 leds) that I'm using with it as well.


Let your dad know about both lights. Both will let you grow whatever you want in a 72" tank.

 

Yes It may be a while till he gets home from work, but I will show him. Once I show him I'll get back to you with the verdict whenever It is made. Are you selling your other equipment and tank as well? or just the light system. I don't know if what I said above made any since but what I was asking was If you are selling all of your equipment as well meaning filter,skimmer,tank,etc. or just certain parts of your complete setup Btw I really like the fluer de lis on your hood.

 

I'm selling the glass and stand eventually. But I plan to keep the vast majority of the equipment as it will all work with whatever tank dimensions I find later on. The lights are pretty specific to tank size so I'm selling them.

 

Ok good now I understand. If I had to guess probably knowing my dad he won't want to start buying equipment until we have a tank or unless they came together because for whatever reason he is set on wanting a package deal where it comes with tank and the majority of the equipment.

 

If there is a way you could offer the tank(210) as well then I am 100% sure he will be interested and may want to talk to you about it.
