Yeah. Just thinking out loud at this point... All this came about pretty suddenly. I'm at a point in my life, that if I don't go now and work for another company (I work with my family now) I'll never have another opportunity to do it. And Las Vegas has both, low cost of living and huge volume of sales. And it will be fun. (great lfs I hope)

I wish you the best of luck with whatever you choose to do :) I would go for whatever job makes you happier.

(An NPS tank would be pretty cool IMO)

Let me know if you're selling anything on here ;)

nps could be a nice change of pace for the next couple of years before you get back into a huge reef tank.

Wow is right, total change in direction! Sounds like a good opportunity though and I hope it works out for you. I will be sad to see your shrine of a tank be taken apart, but know that you will have one sick 40.

I like the NPS idea. You are totally the kind of guy to push that envelope, try stuff out, and really figure out how to make a tank like that flourish and look bad ass. I'll be curious to see where it goes...

And heck, if mine is up by then I'd totally be willing to buy some pieces off you...

Thank you very much Thor!! I really appreciate it. It's a lot of change all at once. But it's what's best for me at this point.

As far as the tank.. it's about as opposite as I could think of... if I have to sell all my stock, I don't think I can just go out and rebuy it in a few months.. too depressing. So going a different direction will help me recover from the loss... And it'll be a new challenge. I'm probably going to do something with a couple par 38s and spotlight down to a couple acros in there still.

Some nps are used to cooler water so you might be stuck with true deepwater acros

I need to do a LOT of research to figure out what's possible. Right now, I like the idea of it, but I don't know what all is required. Lots of flow and lots of food is all I know for sure.
