Update. Everything is functional again except for my Vortech. Going to have to make a call to tech support. I have tried swapping the power supply and the wet side with no luck. It turns on for a second, then just shuts off.

My first coral is doing great. And I'll probably start to add a couple more I have been holding in my Nuvo 16g at work.

I kinda like the (presumably unintentional) glow around the canopy access panels.

With no optics on that light, and assuming the T5's are off, how much light bleed would there be if no canopy was used?...guessing 8"-12" off surface. Looking to go rimless on my build with a similar light to yours, but I don't want my room to be lit by it, just my tank. ;)

I'll take some pics, with all the doors on the canopy open. But there is still a lot of white in that canopy to reflect off of. Without the t5, you don't see near the amount of light bleed. I don't think it's a problem any more than normal led builds because the leds are slighting recessed into the fixture.

Well, I just got a great deal on way to many fish to add at once... $125 for 9 female and 1 male Bartlett's Anthias. Which will basically finish my stocking on the fish side.

I ordered a 16oz bottle of Dr. Tims one and only to help beef up the bacteria loads to handle all the fish at once. (you can't overdose it)

Once I get the resulting mini crash that will occur as a result of adding these all at once over, and I get everything balanced and back to 0 I'll begin stocking with SPS!!

Dr. Tim One and only did nothing for me. I dose 3 16oz bottles over the course of 6 weeks and had a 5 month hard cycle. Just sayin.

So is it going to be just the clowns and the anthias? Great deal on the shoal!
