Well, not really a build, but here it is.Came in yesterday, got the stand put together, anchored the stand to the wall(i have kids),dissassembled the tank, cleaned it out(man was it full of dust!)then spent better than 4 hours trying to figure out how to install the skimmer to no prevail.Got mad,had a drink(it may have been 2 or 3),went to bed.Today i started mixing saltwater and rinsing my sand, decided to order the skimmer made for the tank, filled tank and tested all pumps, heater, etc.Got it up to temp and rounded out the salinity at 1.024 and with all rear chambers at proper water levels my water line is 1/8"above the rim line, which is great(basically if i see the waterline,i need to top off)Went ahead and added a 50/50 mix of live and base rock i had in a storage tank.I will probably play with the aquascape 20 or so more times and still won't like it :p.Gonna do some more tomorrow(add a powerhead in the tank, hide and organise the wiring and so on,but anyhow-here it is.hope you like it.

As far as coral i'm just sticking with easy softies-zoas,leathers,gsp,etc(i like to keep it simple)a cuc from rc's(of coarse with some macros)and for fish it will be a oc or perc clown,a firefish,a yellowtail damsel(i don't care i like em')and a royal gramma.

Well i got some more goodies today,i got the jbj nano skimmer(it's not too bad,had to fiddle with it some, but appears to be working)also got my korolia nano ph and a mag float that came in from marine depot. And then i also scored a clarki clown, velvet damsel(color is awesome!)and a firefish along with a green hammer coral,2 kenya trees, toadstool, antheila(a pain i know, but i like it)neon green sinularia(nice)and a few common poylps, nothing fancy, but a nice start, they are all waiting in a 15 that has been setup waiting for my cube to finish it's cycle, but my nitrires are allready dropping,so it looks like it might be a fairly quick cycle,i think adding all the live rock my have helped by bringing a bunch of the good bacteria into the tank.

    Looking good Grinder37

its always a blessing to have 1 set up already IME - always having options whilst waiting for the 2nd one to be ready.
