    Greetings everyone,

I am planning to keep a school of yellow tangs as i have found they to be quite hardy. I am getting a mixed reviews on this fish keeping them in tank.

    bit of my tank info
    size: 6X2.5X2 feet
    sump: 5X1.5X2 feet
    DIY live rocks

current stoccking since last 4 months

    1 yellow tang
    1 algae eating blenny
    1 seabe clown
    1 yellow tail damsel
1 flame angel (lost it last week) :bawling:
    few clean up crew

i am moving soon, and the tanks are also comming with me so IMO if i shift and add all the yellow tank at one time and same size in this tank that shouldnt be any issue.

my new stocking list for new house (i have planned this is not decided)
    8-10 school of yellow tang
    2 percula clown
    1 buble tip anemon
    1 algae eating blenny
    clean up crew
    10-12 nos of pyjama cardinals
what easy and hardy fishes do you guys suggest ??

one more thing is the blue tooth trigger fish is less aggressive ?? and sets well with the smaller fishes aswell ?? LFS have a blue tooth trigger and i wanted to but them but dont wanna mess around with the things.

    Thanks for the reply

    IMO Worst Idea I've Heard....

1-3 yellows maybe.. 8-10 yellows... Bioload crash... Plus they need more water to swim.

My buddy has a 300 gallon, tried two 4 inch yellow tangs. Just got rid of one because the one bullied the other sooo bad. So I would not do it.

You could get away with say 5... But I have had better luck with keeping multiple scopas tangs together. They are much much much less aggressive and still clean like the yellows do.

Also you might be interested in some anthias. Currently I am keeping 4 female and 1 male disbar anthias. They are less aggressive towards each other than other species of anthias and they are active with bright colors.

Green cromis are decent for schooling IMO. I have 5 and they have no issues with each other or any other tank mates

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Anthias are a great choice. Tons of color and activity but need frequent feeding.

And for anthias here getting them to eat is pain. And plus they are dam expensive.
