Are not Starfish also brainless?  They hunt.  Or do they have tiny brains?  I dunno!!!!! ::) ::) ::)

I had been considering a rock anemone but now.......you see I have a pair of pricey fire shrimp....and welll......nope.  not gettin one ;D[/quote]

Ive have fire shrimp with my RA's for many many months now, no problems as the fireshrimp dont "float" aimlessly in search of prey. My tank is only 12 gallons so if there were to be any conflict with the fireshrimp and anemones it probably would have happened by now. ALso would much rather have the RA's than the shrimp anywho, they ra's are always visible.

My rock anemones have never eaten a thing that I didn't want them to. My fire shrimp, sexy shrimp, cleaner shrimp and peppermints even cruise over them with out any harm.

RA's tend to be less light loving then most. Mine docked under the rock work when I installed my HQI. They live in almost complete shade now, and look great. Mine are red, green, yellow and white.

I guess I've just got an evil RA, kind of wierd though as it never ate anything before. Ive never seen anything tough mine w/out the RA closing the touched portion. I do feed mine good sized krill nd silversides though, i like watching it eat as it makes me see it more as a critter.

I like feeding them as well. Reminds me of tide pooling.
