I noticed a small scratch just under the bottom lip of my clown fish about two weeks ago and have been on holidays since. My sister was feeding them while I have been away but failed to notice that te scratch had turned into a dark colored festery looking growth. Can someone please tell me what I can do to try and heal it. Pics attached.

    Thanks Ben.

    Welcome to 3Reef!!!

I can't see the pic clear enough to know if that's a bacterial infection or if it's fungus. If it's a bacterial infection, there's tons of medicines. Melafix tends to be readily available. If it's fungus, you would want something like Pimafix instead.

    Hi
I have the same growth on my clownfish. Did you manage to treat it successfully?
