Growth on live rock

    I need help identifying what these two things are that are on my live rock.

    The white "tube like" things have grown on the rock over the maybe the last month or so, and I have no idea what it is or if it is harmful.

    The second picture is kinda hard to see but is the best I could get. It's a red and white circular object with spiny things all over. It was a hitchhiker from when I got the live rock and it has never moved.

    Anybody have any ideas on either of them?

    First one looks like a sponge. I believe the second one is a sponge also.

    definitely a sponge. cool looking little things. ive got them all over my rocks.
