depends on your scenario. IMO, the easiest is to break chunk of rock it's on off.

Otherwise, a strong directed flow 'pushing' it to a piece of rubble you want it on... though it may very well go the wrong way and you end up chasing it in sloooow mooootion over several days.

Ice cube applied to the nem may cause it to release its grip and drift off the rock

best done outside of the DT in a bucket IMO

honestly it seems to be very big for a majeno. The ones I have seen have been no bigger then a quarter and oral disc green. I think it is some type of anemone but not sure it is a pest anemone.

Slow motion chase? Hah, sounds like fun.
Might try to isolate it with the ice cube first, if not I'll just break off a chunk of the rock.

    Cheers for the help guys/gals.

Personally I wouldn't take a chance if it were me. I'd pull the rock out and scrape it off with a knife or break the rock as someone earlier mentioned. If your at such an early stage in your tank it shouldn't be a big deal. I would never take a chance. Hitchhikers are a pain. I have had my share. Scrap it and move on.

I would not scrape if off, unless you leave the rock out of your system for a couple days. If it is a pest, and you scrape it off it will release spores into the rock around it and then be released when you put it back in the water.
I would take it out of the tank and either break it off from that piece of rock, or inject it with kalk. If you have the ability to get a syringe with a needle (or you can use a meat basting syringe) the best thing is to stick the needle directly into the mouth and inject the kalk paste from the inside. You will see it shrivel up and wither away.

to move it use a thin piece of plastic to get between the base and the rock then put it on the rock where you want it. credit card works best but be careful not to puncture the base of the anemone or its a goner. no pressure though ha
