Growths on snail! Barnacles?

    my wife saw them on the snail and said they looked like barnacles to her. is she right? and should we be worried about them?

    yes those are barnacles and no they should be a problem they're just filter feeders

    They are barnacles and are safe.

    Heck, yes; I love barnacles. My snails have a few as well. :p

    Awesome! Watch out for those kind of snails! I just found 9 of the same exact type of snails behind my tank! The weird thing is my tank is not very easy to get out of either.

    Same here. I often find them behind my tank.
