    So I tore down the much neglected bio cube. and I have the little green algae spots on the glass.. they are soooo hard to get off I have even tried a razor blade and can't get the stuff off the glass.. any ideas??

    ah yes.. I will go try that now thanksss. it sucks that its raining outside right now as well.

    That would mean filling the whole thing back up! ahhh if worst comes to worst I could do that.

    no just take a paper towel and square it up and soak it and tape it over the hardest spots to get off. give it 15 minutes or so to soak in.

    create a bigger angle with your razor blade and use a little more elbow grease. Did you ever get your pipes figured out?

    I tried with the razor I just don't want to scratch the glass! as for the pipes.. Hmmm.... I know HOW they work I just wanna know if there is a way that I don't have to adjust them everytime..

    That's the benefit of having a glass tank...., you cannot scratch it with a razor. Impossible, so go at it with a bit more gusto and without fear.
