    had me up 3 nights in a row spying on the tank to find out if I had a Mantis Shrimp. but its a Pistol :cry: I wanted a Mantis, now where will I find one? OW!!!

    Oh yeh, this stupid annoying Pistol, does he stay or does he go?!

    Why do you want a mantis so bad??? They kill everything and can even crack your tank glass. Most people consider them pests, but then again some don't. To each is their own I guess!

    Pistol shrimp are fun too. Figure out what species you have and buy the appropriate goby for it.

    Actually, there are numerous publications and video's that point otherwise. I will do some looking and try to find the link, but I have seen a mantis literally shatter the front glass of a 75 gallon tank.
    Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say that if you get one it will happen. But yes, it can happen.
