gsp close for days after water changes

    Why everytime I do a water change my gsp close for 3 days or more???

    GSP can be finicky like that. I've read quite a few threads where GSP just closes up shop for a few days. Unless it turns into a long period I wouldnt worry about it. GSP is pretty hard to kill in most cases.

    Mine sometimes closes for a couple days all by thier own. I have found in my case they do that when it gets like a layer of crud on it. I think at it closes up for the water current to wash the surface of it off. I guess its kinda like letting the surface of it take a bath. I give mine a light wafting with the turkey baster & its usually showing signs of coming out shortly after.
