Am I wrong in assuming that green star polyps like mid to high flow? I seem to remember seeing them in some tanks where they are getting blasted and doing great.

Its weird because you would think they wouldnt be by lookin at them. They look like a bunch of palm trees in florida during a hurricane. But, it seems to me that is where they always seem to thrive. My reason for asking is that I moved them to a spot of almost direct flow and was wondering if they should be ok.

High flow, low flow, mine are happy in anything. They seem to enjoy the beating theyre taking in their current spot just as much as in low current, they are the perfect red headed stepchildren in my tank. I only place them somewhere to fill a space til I get what I really want there, then back to the sand they go. I've never seen them anywhere they didnt all extend and look happy.

They can handle different types of flow, but I`ve noticed they seem to well where there is no debris that can build up on them(usually random indirect flow just my0.02)..
