A little while back i posted a thread talking about how I wanted to put some GSP on the back of my snail. Well, I finally got the green star polyps, and after it grew a little, i fragged a piece to the snails back. The snail was out of the water for just a couple seconds, and then submerged again. The next day the GSP was open, but the snail hadnt moved from where it was.

Today is 5 days later and I just got done pulling the snial out of the tank. It is dead. It smelt funky when I pulled it out, and when I flipped it over, it didnt look pretty.

I wont be attempting this again, and I thought I'd share with everyone my results.

    RIP Big Snail

I dont think it was too much weight. I really have no idea why he died.

And yes, he was a very lazy snail

I used regular gel super glue. Maybe it was just his time, he seemed very old.

That sucks. Maybe go get a perky looking turbo at the LFS and try again. If it was a grandpa snail and didn't move quickly anyhow I doubt it was the glue. It would be cool to see GSP growing on the snail :)
