i was thinking about doing a pico reef. i have an extra Aqueon Evolve 4 lamp thats growing corals really nice now in my evlove 4. i picked up an extra lamp to mabey do a small tank. well im itching for another tank. i was thinking of getting like a 2 gallon tank or so and drill an over flow blah blah blah and have a small sump or something like that and just have some nice gps carpet or something like that. or even a Zoa Mountian would be cool. what do you think? or any ideas?

IMO GSP would overrun the tank and literally only allow them and would be boring, I'd do the zoa/shrrom/LPS tank. more colors that way;)

Only do star polyps if branching. Easier to frag and control. I like the lps/chalice idea sweet corals. Lots to choose from and very colorful.

I kind of like the GSP only idea. That way you don't have to control it, you just let it go. That would be a very bright green tank. :)

Ya and gsp dosent really grow on sand so i could have a mountian of LR in the middle and just have it grow on that!! But the other ideas are cool!! Im planing on a hex or round tank.

Put a few differnet zoas in first, let them grow and become healthy. Then throw in a frag of gsp, and let the two do work, Frag as necessary. lol. I would love to do a 10 gallon tank with just that one day.
