:cry:well..out of no where. he is dead... my powderblue died today.:-/

as you all may know he got ich and it was starting to clear up ( or so i thought).. he ate yesterday (ate a lot.. which surprised me he died like that). but today after i came back from school.. i couldnt find him. i though he could be hiding somewhere and would come out later..

i got tired of waiting so i went ahead and searched for him. found him dead under a rock. guessing ich wasnt gone and he was just eating in a struggle..

im really bummed out.. he was my favorite in the tank.:-/
edit: checked params right after and are as follows:

    ammonia 0
    nitrates 0
    nitrites 0
    ph8.4
    temps 80
    salinity 1.024

i do have plans of adding a replacement but i dont think it will be a powder blue.

maybe ill just add a yellow tang. they are hardier.

That sucks man. I hate to say I told you so, but it was very likely to happen in such a young tank. I went through the same exact thing with my powder blue.

Sorry to hear that! Sucks... I would be lost if My Achilles bit the bullet and I've only had him a little over a Month!

I personally Wouldnt add a yellow tang to the tank just because It is hardier... There are alot of tangs that are easier to care for and not super hardy but have nicer coloring and personality!

Do some searching and see what tangs might interest you if your looking for a tang.
