    If I remember correctly the Acanthurus family of the tangs has a thiner slime coating the the rest of them, leaving them more susceptible to disease and being harmed by chemicals. Kinda why I refused to QT my Achilles when He got ich and use chemicals :-\ For they have an even thinner coating which is why they are hard to keep alive in captivity. -From what I've read-

    I Wish I would Have Known you wanted a PBT, I gave away my PBT to a local Petco... Cause I wanted an Achilles. He was a hardy little guy.. I had him for over 2 months!

    yellow tangs are hardy, but they can also be nasty.
