    Long bulbs of moonlights? explain more, im confused bc moonlights are typically LeDs, any pics? If i where you id do 14k, anything higher with alot of atinics looks fake. But thats just my .02

    I'm with oceanparadise, 20K's IMO look too fake. The 14K's are good enough.;)

    wait is 14k have the blue color that shows the sps polyps good? the moon lights are in one super long bulb just like a t5 bulb looks but inside it theres a bunch of little leds in it and if i took it out i cuild poot more t5s or just stright actenics ill take a pic here.

    oooooooooooo its an led strip, pretty cool, yes 14k will show the sps polyps good. For me they where still to blue, i actually use 2 12ks on the left and right of my 180 and one 14k in the middle with 2 6 foot vhos and i love the look, looks perfect! but yea 14ks will give u that blue look.

    Most likely your MH are 10K's anything lower would look red/yellow rather than white.
    I think all color temps are the same price. I may be wrong though. But everywhere I looked so far, the prices are the same with the different Kelvins.

    If you pull your bulb out it should have something written on the ends to tell you what it is. Also how old is the bulbs all of them?

    Different ballasts will burn MH lamps differently!

    ok it ses on the bulb 250w/14000k

    so i got 14ks allredy as the bulbs get older do they turn brighter? my lfs has one mh bulb for 50$ and anuther for 75$ both are 250w double ended 14k. the reason ones more is cuz he sed its high outpoot or sumthing duz that really matter?? and if it doas how can i figure out if my mhs are high outpooted?
