guys very simple question, what is the best salt in the market?

for the reef tank what should be the best salt? and can you guys explain what is plus and negatives of these salts? i am currently using reef crystal from IO. but i can change if is not the best one.

 

I think thats a personal pref, but you should look for mixes that are made for or cater to reef tanks. Luna

 

I prefer Coralife Scientific Grade salt...

 

I use IO for a long time till I found out the coralife is got more of the trace elements needed
for reef keeping

I use tropic marin reef grade pharmacutical grade salt.

 

I recently bought Coralife, IO Reef Crystals and Oceanic. By far the best one to me has been the Oceanic. I completely mixes and you don't use as much, also it gives your tank what it needs.....one bucket also makes 200 gallons at 55.00 per bucket.....

IMO reef crystals or tropic marine are the best for reefing. I don't use the best though. I just use plain ol instant ocean

 

i use marine enviroment, it is way bitchen i love it. it comes with a second bottle of trace elements.
