Had a clown jump out over night.. Is that common?

    Hey guys just wondering how common a clown jumping is. I dont understand what would make him jump. Any ideas?

    i have had one jump. i thought he was lost in the rock but i found him later behind my tank.

    My wife lost a black ocellaris just a few nights ago through a very small hole in the lid... she was very sad. Not sure why a lot of fish lose their minds at night??

    My clown likes to jump into my overflow. Luckily he hasnt made it out of the tank yet because I run open top.

    one of my b/w clowns jumped to that back chamber of my biocube, havent seen it since.

    i think they jump if they're too stressed out

    I imagine that at least for some species, it may be that with no lights on they can't see the water surface, so if they dart as they normally would from danger, they end up out of the water.
