Had a clown jump out over night.. Is that common?

    im not sure about the light idea, but ik jumping usually occurs when the jumping fish is being bullied.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    My clowns routinely hit the lid of my tank. Mostly when they are horsing around so to speak. If a snail gets too close to their spot they go nuts.

    It's pretty funny, as soon as I turn out the lights on my 125 FOWLR, all of my tangs hit the sand and go right to sleep! I have two hippos that have found spaces between 3 stacked rocks that they wedge themselves in-between like bunk beds. Obviously not all fish settle down after the lights go out... that seems to be when diamond gobies lose their mind and try to launch themselves out of the tank.

    I stuck my hand in the tank once and mine nibbled at the small diamond in the middle of my class ring. Caught me off guard. When I raised my hand out of the tank, he followed it and flopped right out on the floor. Had to scoop him back up and rescue him!
