Had a tooth pulled today!

It sucked big time! I got shot up pretty good, but their was still a lot of pain. Looks like i'm in for a long night of spitting blood and pain!

 

i lost a tooth a week ago that wasnt supposed to come out so now i have to have an implant. they found that i had another baby tooth with no permanent tooth also so now its 2 implants! and to top it off, theyre gonna take out my wisdom teeth at the same time!

moral of the story, i feel your pain. hope you feel better!

 

I have some baby teeth missing permanents too...oh well! The dentist told me most people don't lose them until their 40s or 50s, and sometimes never, so...I'll deal with it when it happens, I guess! lol

That sucks. Novocaine does nothing to me. I feel everything when it comes to stitches and dental work. When I had a root canal demanded gas. If I had to feel everything, I at least wanted to not care.

Did you get some good drugs?

sorry for your pain you guys, but take care of them teeth :thinking2 I need to do it too. Tomorrow I'm going to a viewing of my sensei (martial arts teacher) who just passed because of a tooth infection that spread to her heart it may hurt but it's worth it.

I feel your pain I had some teeth pulled before and the dentist wouldn't give me more Novacane...hurt like hell then got infected afterwards to boo.

I just had a tooth filled but was too close to the nerve and now have to go in mon. (after the infection goes away) for a root canal.
For the filling doc even gave me extra Novacane but it wore off before he was finished (he was surprised...I wasn't. My dad and sister are the same way).

 

Well, today is lot better than yesterday. The pain has gone down a lot and the area has stopped bleeding. Now I just have to deal with the gap in my teeth! Thanks for the kind replies.
