So, I got a few acros a couple days ago and I was hoping my clown goby wouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I had to tear the reef apart to catch the bugger! Good thing it's just a 10gal! All is well now. I am actually considering getting a damsel (I know you guys are probably swearing at your screens right now lol) But my female clown is too aggressive for other free swimming fish because the frogspawns are hosting her and she protects them. She doesn't mind goby type fish though. All there is left in there fish wise is my clown and my red spot trimma. So I was considering adding some kind of reef safe damsel because he would be able to defend himself from the clown and they normally come out in the open. I tried a chromis but he would never come out in the open and was getting chased by the clown... What do you guys think? I won't be adding any more fish after that. Or should I just leave things be?

Yea, I think you are right. I think I may leave everything be then. He was eating the polyps off my acros.... They are known to do that, so he's gone now.

Just leave the clown by itself. Clowns are in the damsel family, and one will kill the other in a 10 gallon tank.
