I recently set up a Solana 34 cube tank in my home office since I rarely leave the computer because of work & get frustrated that I can't appreciate the tank in our nook & I also love some of the smaller variety fish but was afraid to have them in my larger tank because of my Cinnamon Clown & Yellow Tang being aggressive to newcomers. I still need to share pics of this tank with you all.

Yesterday, while shredding some old documents in my home office, I heard a weird noise on the carpet followed by some more flapping noises. I turned to look & saw that my Yellow Coris Wrasse had jumped out of the tank. I quickly scooped him up & put him back in the tank. The reason he jumped out is my Lime Coris Wrasse loves to chase him around the tank constantly throughout the day. I'm glad I was not only home but was in the room when it happened. So today I put the glass lid that came with the tank on it temporarily until I order the trim lid that matches the stand for easier access to the tank!

    Yeah, most wrasses are jumpers.

I'm glad I learned that about wrasses while I was home & in the same room at the time!

I have lids on all my tanks simply for that reason. I am wondering though about the lime green wrasse and the yellow coris wrasse. In a bigger tank should be fine, but I think that yours might be too small to have both of them. How long have they been together.

With lids you do have to watch for gas exchange. Make sure you have excellent surface agitation to help with the co2. On each of my tanks I have pumps just to move the surface of the water

good save! and yes post pictures!

I have had them in the tank together for about 2-3 weeks. If it keeps up, I can always try putting the green wrasse in my 110 tank although I think he might get bullied by my cinnamon and/or tang in that tank.

I have some circulation pumps (Koralia, I believe) laying around that I used in my old 37 gal set up. I could use that to help with surface movement.

I do hope to have pics within a day or two. I've been trying to find a way to mount my Kessil LED light without using the goose neck kit putting any tension on the glass. We just tested hanging it from the ceiling tonight & hope to get pics in about 1-2 days of the tank.
