Had to swap Tanks! added sand w/o rinsing?!

Sooo. I have a fluval Osaka and the center brace snapped. I had to swap the tank out in a few hours.

I had a CC bottom that i didn't like so I took the oppurtunity to change to sand.

I used the High Desert Play Sand from home despot. (passed the vinegar test great)

But i didn't have time to rinse 150#lbs of the stuff. So i just dumped it in and am prayin...

Am I screwed or just looking at a snow storm for a few days.

It will settle down in a day or so, I know Oceansparadise1 uses that same brand in his tanks with no issues. be sure to post pics soon

did the same thing - but I did it before adding livestock... What I did was stir it up even more and then did a couple of large water changes. This cleared everything up within 12 hours.
