If you where going to spend the money on a Carpet, might as well go with something your going to enjoy the colors of. Not to mention Carpets get huge. A freind of mine has a Green Haddons and it is over 3ft wide, they are no joke. Unless you have beyond great lighting you wont get much color out of a Green Bubble Tip IMO. They seem more brown with the very tips of the tentacles being green and even at that they arent very bright. As for the Condy Anemone, I posted on this a while back because my Maroon had jumped right in after getting it, turns out they are not good for the Clown long term. The clowns can still be stung by it and the Condylactus's sting is more potent than most of the others.

Your tank being 2 months old, you will more than likely be waisting money in killing the nem. IMO 7 months stability is a good time frame.

Try a Rose Bubble Tip or a nicely colored Long Tentacle Anemone. Go to the WYSIWYG of liveaquaria.com, they usually have some VERY nice Nems.

    GL :)

I waited 5mths prior to acquiring my sebae anem. I love it. have had it now for almost 3mths and it is eating well and looks healthy. I do agree with the others, it is best to wait.

I have to O clowns that havent even looked at it though. Not sure if its because they are tank raised:confused: but it bugs me.....

sorry about the condy example, i didnt mean to suggest anything wrongly to you. it was mainly just a comparison to how long you should wait to get a carpet i you get one at all because the extremely high atality rate.

I just like the way the clown and carpet anemone look together. Not so much the anemone itself. All the variations with long tentacles look like spiders or something to me. I guess I'm just weird. Either way it doesn't matter because I'll be waiting to add anything.
