Haha algea

    Well I finally win my battle against cyano now im havign an algae outbreak and having to clean my glass at least 2-3 times a week now, I swear I cant win with this tank right now. What do you guys think is going on in it?

    probubly your nitrates nitrites phosphates ph and or alkalinity is off anyone of those things can cause an algae to get a foot hold in your tank. I would try limiting light in your tank for 5-6 hours a day feed your fish less and get cleaner snails. by the way what type of algae do you have?

    Its just the film algae on the glass, got lots of cleaner snails maybe ill pick up another batch of them and toss them in.

    ya thats fine i suggest margarita snails there more thourough, also algae blennys are great for eating that type of algae on the glass and hes fun to watch and requires no care

    werd then i may head back to the store tomorrow, lol I added a watchmen goby just now lol and i think hes scared cuz I cant find him anywhere

    haha ya hell be find though he just has to ajust im not firmiliar with watchmen gobys what do they do to help the tank?

    just like any other gobys, sand shifters cleaning up the remaining food that drops down

    actinics are on from 9 to 9, superwhites are on from 11-7
