So My mom is setting up my 46g Corner tank for a pair of seahorses. Its been up almost a month now. We put some shrimp in to get it started, She purchased about 20lbs of Liverock and took about 15 lbs of cured LR from my current tanks.

Anyways, Podded it up, Got some Macro in there. Now to keep up with the bioload... So I found a cute Damsel Haha. (Chrysyptera cyanea / Orangetail Blue Damselfish)...

:) Hey at least she can stop bugging me about seahorses for a while and Relax and let the tank fully finish the cycle.

Good luck getting that Damsel out of there before you put the seahorses in there. Damsels are most definitely not on the preferred Seahorse Tank-mate list. They are way to mean and active in the water column to be in the same tank as seahorses.

I would have gone with something like a Yellow, Black or green Clown Goby or almost any of the other goby'sor maybe a Red or Purple Firefish

Theres is a really comprehensive Seahorse Tankmate Guide on Seahorse.org that you can view even if your not a member. It has been compiled over the years by many seahorse keepers and except for a very few exceptions should be consulted and adhered to if you want to successfully keep Seahorses

The damsel will be moving. Upon arrival for seahorses.

Into a 90G Fowlr aggressive tank. And I am quite aware of what should be with seahorses. Seahorses only. Is the best way to go. Yes some fish are ok, But its easier just to do a species tank.

How are you going to get the damsel out, Eric? I've heard they don't even tire as much. You'll chase it for hours!! Do you have a plan?
