    Get a TDS meter to measure the quality of your RO water. You may need to replace your membrane and prefilters. If you have DI cannisters you may need to change the resin (much cheaper than the RO membrane). When the DI resin is exhausted it starts leaching stuff back into the water and makes it worse.

    i currently have 3 fish: 2 clarkii clowns ( 4 inches and 2 inches) and a dottyback
    i feed half a cube of frozen brine shrimp every other day and defrost the food in spare water before putting in the tank....As for my ro unit is 6 months I think the membrane
    lasts for 1.5 years...

    About the lights...if someone hasn't told you yet, only change 2 at a time with about 2 weeks in between before changing the other two. How long has the fuge been going and what type of light are you using there and for what time period (hours per day).

    about the sea hare and poison . Well I gave my sea hare to a friend with a hair algae problem . Sadly the sea hare did die and my friend left it in the tank cause he notice nassarius snail on top of it . They ate the hare in about 15 mins . No fish have died and this was over a week ago now . I have read they are poisonous but have also read that it isnt poisonous also . In my friends case I can say they aren't poisonous but who knows in another tank or different situations . Uncljed thanks for the info I didnt have any knowledge of them being poisonous . +1 to you uncle

    No problem, some are more than others, depends on the species.
    Also, no problem in a week but watch the ammonia and nitrite from the decay and feast.
