    no your blenny wont eat it i would first get your nitrates and phosphates under control first and it should die off by it self. if you want a animal to help eat the hair algae i would get either some mexican turbo snails or best a sea hare. do not buy a lettuce nudibranch because it doesnt eat GHA it eats bryopsis which is slightly different from GHA

    I tried 2 Blennies, a lawn mower and a Dragon, both ate a little but didn't venture from their territory much. Each only lasted a month or so.

    I just posted about the Red Slime Remover and Chemi-Clean. Remember, these treatments are intended to get things under control. They will kill the bacteria but you must eliminate excessive nutrients from the tank. Be sure you follow the directions exactly....an air stone must be employed during treatment to supply ample oxygen.

    every site says highfin blennys eat alot of hair algae so i will try it

    Wouldn't a skimmer provide enough aeration? Or do you need even more then just that?
