    Is this algae? It closely resembles a massive group of spider webs. This was the best I could do with the photo (still learning the camera). (P.S. photo taken during the day, in case you were wondering why most of the polyps are closed). Really!!! ::)

    can you post picture or better link ? That looks to be a file /folder path on your desktop not a site link.
