I just came home after a 10 hour shift at work, in the morning the mushroom looked shrunken. Now it has translucent weird blobs floating around, as well as its split in half.

Is it dead? Should I take it out before it nukes everything? Or is it doing something completely normal and I'm freaking out for nothing.

    :-/

edit: the other corals in my tank (zoas, trumpets, birdnest, frogspawn, etc) are as happy as can be

    ammonia: 0
    nitrate - 0
    nitrite - 0
    calcium 425
    ph 8

Unless this is a huge coral in a small tank I don't think it will nuke the tank. but I have no idea what is going on with it, It may be turning inside out or something like anemone and puking

I would just chill and watch it, if you lucky it's just going to split into two of them.
