I had a coral beauty about two weeks ago and it was eaten by my two hermit crabs..

about a weeks ago i got a half-black angel fish and i look at it tonight and its really messed up!! i mean tail bitten, color change and its swimming weak...

Everything else in my tank is doing great idk whats up with me and angels or hermits and angels... :-/

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Are these big hermits?

Usually hermit just clean up when a fish is dead or dying.

Are these deaths happening at night only?

    Any other fish bullying?

Not really big, and this only happends around mid-day so idk..
and fish bullying no because i have a pair of clowns and a bangaii cardinal so i cant make up what can be it but the hermits.. :-/

Tank parameters are ideal, i actually did a 2 gallon water change today so everything is where it should be and none of my other fish or corals showed signs of stress :)

Could you have a Mantis Shrimp?
Is this a disease process going on?
Please post image of fish if it occurs again.
Do you have a Serpent Star?
The hermit may be munching on it but it was already down when it happened, I do not think they are your primary suspect.

Did u buy live rock from someone or a store? Sounds like a different invertebrate is the culprit here... Hermits are harmless toward living fish. I have blue and a red leg and they don't bother anything alive. But dead is another story.

Perhaps you can post your parameter values.
How long has this tank been set up and running?

    Ahh thanks.

    Sounds like disease then.

Might want to wait a couple weeks before introducing another fish.

Good luck and again if you have another issue please post an image of the fish.
