The Who didn't sound their best to be sure--but the old boys did a respectful job. Back in the days when the drummer and bassist were still around--now that was some rock 'n roll.

I saw these guys in 1975 at Madison Square Garden, I was 10, and they did the entire Tommy soundtrack. What a memory.

    For those Who remember.

Best one was in 1997 when the Blues Brothers and ZZ Top performed. Plus all the Harleys that were circling the field was cool too :)

    I agree.

They need to stop the old time music and get some bands from this day and age.

The WHO? More like the WHY.

I guess it's all an generational thing.

If Justin Timberlake hit the stage, I'd probably be as dissapointed as you were with The Who. :)

I am only 9- maybe 10 years younger than you depending on your b day. That still does make me a gen Xer, my fiance is older than some of the guys at the SB party we were at and those guys liked the who, and she doesn't like the who.

I like Rush, and many older bands like that, but the who were never ones I appreciated, despite them naming a rock opera after me. LOL

Say what you want about J Timberlake, but the guy is very talented and gets ratings.

I like the who, but to me they just sounded old. especially at the beginning. they were alright when they got warmed up. I've recently seen AC-DC, Van Halen, and Def Lepard. They were all pretty good, just not as good as when in their prime.
