I have a anchor hammer. A few hours ago like a few minutes before lights off. It was spitting some brown stuff out. Is it zooxanthellae or is it taking a dump? Because, everyday I put in baby brine shrimp for my fish and my corals. And i put in chromamax and zoomax everyday also. I dont know what it is. I dont have a picture but i can describe it, its real thin and stringy. In my tank I do NOT have any other corals besides one assorted polyps. And one small rock of xenia. Please help!!!! Thank you!

My hammer, and Torch do that on a regular basis - not all the heads every day, but 1 head of each species will do that on any given day
and the following day, back to normal

    they expell waste this way
so IMO your coral was pooping
