    Are these for feeding. I've been watching thIs all morning. Seems to be picking up things in the water. Is that what it's for. I thought it was defense

    They use them for feeding,defense and offense.

    I've never seen mine put out sweeper tenticles, I hear they can get up to 6" but mine usually stay in the 2-3" range consistently

    Mine (this is my secand) seem to put out like 12 inches when I do anything water wise. Weather I'm doing A water change or topping off. When my tank crashed the one I had then had a ton
