    I have a hammer coral. And at night it retracts. Is that okay and you can see the skeleton.

    most corals shrink down at night. It is perfectly normal. a lot of corals will shrink down and extend feeding tentacles throughout the night too.

    Almost everycoral(wiht the exception of a few) close up at night, they are reacting to the light going off.
