When you get your new light fixture you can add the hammer but put it low to middle in the tank for the first week. Monitor it everyday for coloration and whatnot. JMHO;D Oh make sure all your water params are ok before adding it.

With that light I would leave it low in the tank. Make sure that you do not touch the flesh on the skeleton it will cause it to die and possibly the coral. Move it as little as possible. Make sure its flesh does not make contact with the rock, same reason as avoid contacting the flesh on the skeleton.

The rock can tear and/or irritate the flesh.

With that light, depending on tank depth (im guessing you are on a 55 or 75) put it about 1/2 way in the tank. wedge the base between some rocks but dont let the fleshy parts touch, nor let the tips rub the rocks. give it a good modest current that lets it sorta bounce in the wind. doing that it will expand and grow. mine did really good under 440watt vho's on my old 75. I had a good current. Here is a photo of it so you can see how it was placed in my tank.

edit. Dang. just noticed the growth. first is March 2008, second is January 2009

Edit.. OOPS, I read frogspawn and not hammer.. Sorry. anyways the hammer is below the frogspawn. both woudl do well interchanged in their position.
